This module (MUE 351) is intended for the student teachers' exploration
of musical works of the Africa and other regions of the world. Eventually,
students will acquire knowledge on how occasions of African musical
performances and those of other continents have been conducted over a period of time. This aspect of
vast musical information will broaden the students' understanding of African musical repertoires and various works practiced in certain parts
of the world. Eventually, students will have better understanding of the
African and other regions' musical undertakings and an enhanced
music education background, which will eventually benefit their own
pupils.
